I just realized that I have NEVER been drunk!
I have been...other things, but I have never, ever been drunk. I really don't want to either. I love Martinis and the occasional beer, but I don't have the desire to completly lose control of myself.

Just some musings based on some overheard bragging of people saying "I got so drunk this weekend...it was so awesome!":eyes:

I am turning in my resignation later today. I am also going to look into what action I can take with what happened today. People are not looking at me, which is never a good sign... If he had not been old, I would have thrown a fucking chair at him, but that would have made me just as guilty.

I've gotten a little tipsy, but not drunk.

I don't wanna know what it's like to be drunk.

2. Being drunk isn't so bad
as long as you don't lose all control of yourself and don't drive drunk. It's the hangover that sucks. Being A drunk is what really sucks.

But I like your policy on not getting drunk. That is the best path.

3. I think you're right to turn in your resignation
When we allow people to treat us as your boss did you, we're letting the terrorists win! (actually, that wasn't what I was going to say but it fit in there so neatly, I figured what the hell)

7. I haven't been in years
I used to get trashed off my gourd like an idiot. I made a fool out of myself many, many times. Not a good thing. :)

Good luck. Just move on and appreciate the great things to come. :)

Unless you like the idea of having to actually think about puking now in order to not puke later, when you're asleep. And I imagine you're not that type :-)

on edit: Congrats on your newfound freedom. I hope all works out well for you.

10. Being drunk sucks - *getting* drunk is the fun part
once you're there, it's no fun at all. You're incapable, probably incoherent, possibly an asshole, and you may feel sick too. What's to like? And it's even worse the next morning.

12. Nor me
I've kept up with real drinkers and didn't feel or behave any different. And since I know that too much is poison, I don't bother anymore. One beer a week to sip and savour.

Once I was accused of being drunk at a party. The only thing is, I drank lemonade all night. I just picked up on a good vibe and enjoyed myself.
