Poll question: "Throwing snowballs at cars" should be an Olympic sport.

With the winter coming I am reminded of the pastime of hiding in a bush hucking a snowball at a car...then running like hell

3. damn, those were good times
the giddy thrill that came with landing one, and then the risk of getting caught. Definitely assholish behavior, but I fully indulged as a youth.

Unfortunately, we don't get many snowstorms in Los Angeles, so I rarely get to participate any more.

5. About two years ago
My buddy and I were at an Xmas party....around 3 it started to snow. SO we decided to go and re-live old times. We were wandering around looking for a place to hide for the snowball chucking....then a taxi pulled up, a guy got out and we started whipping snowball's at him. HE said "Stop stop. I give up" and we took off. The next day we went to my friends (Who is this guy's nieghbour) We were telling him the story and laughing, he didn't look impresses.
"That guy only has one arm you assholes"

6. oh, man; whoops!
Not much of a challenge there, I guess. I don't imagine he was too adept at making snowballs, though his arm may have been better due to compensation.

7. I'm just glad he took it in humour
It was so dark we couldn't see he only had one arm. Not to mention coming home at three am getting out of a cab and being pelted with snowballs, would be considered assualt by some people (Gun toting freepers looking for an exscuse to shoot someone especially)

8. My brother
accidently ran over a kid who was throwing snowballs at cars. He swerved when one hit his windshield, fishtailed on the ice and hit the kid standing on the side of the road. The kid ended up breaking both legs. I used to think throwing snowballs at cars was fun until that happened. Snowball fights between friends are still fun though.

9. We used to run after we tossed them
thus eliminating the chance of such an accident.

Actually BC being the place I grew up, there were hills everywhere, so we threw the balls from 30 feet above street level mostly.

13. I bet we get it back after the scandal!
Come on the ruskies don't throw snowballs at cars... a Lada would blow up if a snowball hit it and murder is a big charge.
