I need to make something good to help feel better but can't think of anything. We are mostly omnivores, no cow though and have 1 total vegetarian in the house. Advice or ideas?

1. Chinese carry out
You can find something there to suit everyone's taste and support a small business in the process.

2. How about
a double veggie stir fried, half for the vegetarian and throw in some chicken in the other half for the omnivores. A side of brown rice. Some fresh fruit for dessert.

4. It's a gorgeous, summery day here
so we're having summer food! It's the end of husband's weekend (though I worked today) so he's making a grilled portabello "burger" for me, some of those LightLife "hot dogs" for himself, and some baked sweet potato fries with chipotle dipping sauce.

I absolutely love having him cook for me!

6. Portobello mushroom fajitas
Slice portobellos, bell pepper and onions into strips, fry 'em up with a little seasoning and serve inside flour tortillas with rice and black beans on the side.

8. Can I come over?
I just found 1 of these digging around in my kitchen. Maybe egg salad sandwiches for lunch tomorrow.

9. That's not dinner here tonight (sounds good though, maybe tomorrow)
I have seitan shepherd's pie in the oven but it's not a great thing to throw together in a hurry. The fajitas are both really good and really fast.
