1. My dear SeattleGirl!
Well, maybe they'll surprise the heck out of you, and WIN!

Have a great time, anyway!

Tell us all about it when you get back, OK?

3. Well, I have the baseball fan's eternal hope, Peggy!
But they just got swept by the Tigers, and now they are playing the White Sox, who are a smidge better than the Tigers. Oh well. I love baseball!

It's unfortunately the Eddie blew the save.

30. The minors rawk!
I've been to more than 500 minor league games. Costs about a fourth as much, every seat's a good one and five years later you get to say, "I saw him play in A-ball."

31. Hey SeattleGirl - how can going to Safeco ever be bad
Edited on Tue Apr-25-06 04:29 PM by dr.strangelove
Going to Safeco is always fun. The food is great, the views are great and it has the best beer of any ballpark in the country. The Ms wil pick it up soon and Ichiro will break out of his slump. Glad they won for you.

FYI- the SI preseason college football rankings came out today and the Ducks are ranked 17, behind USC and Cal in the Pac-10 at 7 and 8.
The Ducks host Oklahoma Sept 16 at Autzen.

36. I took some awesome pictures from Safeco last night.
I used my camera phone, and need to upload them to Photobucket so I can post. Couple of nice sunset pictures, a nice shot of downtown, and a pic of Qwest Field, right across the street (you know, where the Seahawks play).

Ducks are 17th, huh? Well, we'll see how the season goes for them.

32. SeattleGirl. We have one of your former stars here in San Diego now.
Mike Cameron manufactured and scored the only run the Padres scored last night. Singled, stole 2nd, legged out a fielder's choice to 3rd and scored on a short sac-fly. He also made a couple of great plays in the outfield.
Always liked the guy and now can see him play every day.
You like Cameron?

37. I love Cammie!!!
And I miss him a lot, because he was so good in center field, and he was so connected to the fans. You're lucky to have him.

We do have Jeremy Reed now in Center and he is doing really well too, but there's just something about Mike!
