Poll question: Who do you think will get the American Idol boot this week?
I am picking Pickler to go (Kelly). She is swimming up stream like a sal-mon. A country-fried sal-mon.

(She says "There's an L in "Sal-mon," so I pronounce it! There's a B in "dumb-ass," so maybe she pronounces that too.)

But, I'm afraid it might be Taylor. :(

1. Ok, I voted for Kellie to go because I don't think much of her
but I really think it will be either Paris or Elliot who will go. Both have great voices but won't have the votes to compete. Too many young guys are thinking with their penises not their brains, and will be voting for Kellie.

2. In a perfect world... we'd see their performances before voting
but... I think much of this is a popularity contest. As such, I don't see Pickler leaving any time soon.

Elliot is probably a contender to be ousted, as is (sadly) Paris.

3. Yes I think it might be Eliot

Pickler actually has more star quality that Eliot.

Re perfect world: This poll is about your impression of their cumulative performances as a measure of trud Idolness, as opposed to who shines most brightly on a particular show. :P

4. The guy who reviews the show for "The Advocate" re: Pickler
Edited on Tue Apr-25-06 03:32 PM by Mike Daniels
In the installment covering "American Standards week" he said regarding Pickler's butchering of "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" and still being in the top 4:

"It’s now official that Pick Pickler would have to defecate onstage and begin hurling it at the judges and Marilu Henner (who was in the audience) to get herself voted off. Perhaps re-create Divine’s final scene in Pink Flamingos. Maybe not even then..."

The recap for last week is at http://www.advocate.com/exclusive_detail_ektid30104.asp

I think with it being love song week that Elliot may be safe for another week as his singing is pretty good for that type of material.

My guess for going "bye-bye" is Paris.

5. I keep hoping that the entire fanbase will get the boot at some point.
Never happens. :evilfrown:
