Video of Rani: A Kitten we rescued in the UAE

The link is for video of our new kitten, Rani. Rani is short for princess in Hindi. It's fitting because she is quite a little diva.

We have had her one week. She came to us nearly starved, dehydrated, abandoned by her streetcat mom, and very undersized.

She is growing quickly now and is very quite, but WAY to violent and playful.

The video is of my wife CLYRC (on DU) giving her a lecture about the redeeming power of love over violence!

I have a cat that tells me off w/ regularity too, but usually because she thinks I haven't given her enough attention.

Yeah street cats are part of it... we adopted one little monster.

The little bastard turned out to be the most affectionate, loving cat.


I kinda miss the cats...... Our street cat had a baby. Roxie gave birth to Roxanne.... A boy but I still called him Roxanne...........

maybe she needs a partner in crime.

my cats have never been like my dogs -- those that have been over the top active did better when another cat was around.

More kittens actually means more WILDNESS. Also, adult cats don't mix well with other cats here. We have 1 other cat right now who doesn't play ball so to speak.

Rani owns the walled garden and Adrienne owns the house for now.

i've had cats -- but i will say the difficult cat i had -- i had to get her a play mate -- or she whould clawed the whole house to death.
