Rear-ended in front of my house...
while I was turning into my driveway.

And then the woman jumps out of her car and starts wagging her finger in my face screaming that I did not signal. (I did)

In my driveway, a foul-mouthed 5-2 or so woman actually started wagging her finger right in my face after she rear ended my car while I was turning into my property.

I am 5'11 and, well I was a football player in my younger years.

Fortunately my wife interviened when she saw my eyes go blank, or I would be in jail now.

After much histronics on her part, the woman decided to go home without calling the police. No damage to my car... maybe a scratch... she has some busted fiberglass.

What is it with people these days that they think they can just do whatever they want?

2. Bush leading by example and she's following?
Selfish scared people do selfish scary things? What a butt head I would have wanted to call the cops just so she could get a ticket after that display.

3. Rear enders are always at fault, aren't they?
Isn't that like *the* rule of accidents?

8. More or less, although if you do something like make a right turn...
from the left lane with a car behind you and in the right lane, the person who rams into you can blame it on you.

4. What if you stopped because there was something in the road
is it okay to run the hell into you? What difference does it make if you signal... you have brake lights, don't you?!?

7. I had just told her that if she did not get
that finger out of my face I was going to break it off and shove it up her ass.

I was not joking.

6. A few years back my Bronco was parked in front of my house...
when I heard a "BANG". I ran out to see what was happening. This teenage girl, with no license and insurance was *talking on a cellphone and doing her makeup rammed my Bronco. There was no damage to my vehicle but her car was totaled. Her parents came down and yelled at me for parking where I did saying that if I wasnt parked there her daughter's car wouldnt have been wrecked. Yeah RIGHT!!
The cops told them that their little darling was at fault and the parents kept trying to blame it on me for PARKING LEGALLY ON A PUBLIC STREET!
The parents actually had the nerve to ask the cop if I had to pay for the damage. He laughed.

*My neighbor was outside when it happened and told me about her on the phone and doing makeup, which was open on the seat next to her.

10. People drive like that. I've had someone back into my car (while parked)
and yell at me as I walk over to the car with a "What the fuck" look on my face.

I got hit in a parking lot, and came over to check out the damage, and the person had the nerve to yell at me!

"This your car"

"Yeah, uh, doesn't look too bad but -"

"What the hell was it doing here. You can't park it there like this!" (its parked in a marked, legal spot, in the lines, not hanging out or anything, so I'm not sure what the guy means).

"Ok, right, look -"

"Dammit, this is bullshit. This place is full of morons" (said by him while getting into his car. "You're lucky I'm not gonna call the cops"

"Fuck it" I say, while watching him speed away.

That was, I think, five years ago????

11. I wonder why she was following too closely
or what it was that distracted her attention from where it should have been. Was she talking on her cellphone, perhaps?

13. joke, Glad you had a wife to intervene and didn't get hurt
Drunk guy at a party talked with his neighbor and said he'd follow the neigbor home in his car, to make sure he got home ok. Drunk is being very careful, turning where the neighbor does, making sure to not lose sight of tail lights. Suddenly front car stops and drunk rear ends it, gets out yelling wtf are you doing, why did you stop so suddenly, look what you made me do etc. Neighbor points out he has parked his car in his garage.

14. SHIT. The law is on your side completely.
It's ALWAYS the fault of the person behind you. ALWAYS. Add to that her rudeness and inhumanity.

Listen, are you OK?

15. It sucks that you don't have brake lights.
I mean, signal or no, those pesky bright red lights in front of me usually give me cause to apply my brakes as well.

Of course, the defense that you slowed down so significantly so as to not NEED to apply the brakes pales when faced with either:
1. How close she was behind you, tailgating that she still hit you, or;
2. How fast she was going behind you that she still hit you.

17. But...it's the Republican way. Always blame the other guy.
Be obnoxious and loud and place blame. Then no one will notice how guilty you are.
