Just like "Superstar." (although it's also okay to call it a Bette Midler song). Karen Carpenter is the one who made all these songs well known but does she get the credit? One of the top female voices ever? NO.
Drives me bonkers...

Great compositions, and her voice is incredible.
The Carpenters were roundly slammed for being "unhip," but I don't think there's a case to say they weren't talented.
They were.
