Wednesday Lyrics (Khash is still on a downer)
You made me the thief of your heart
I hope you're happy now...
...I could never make you so...
you were a hard man...
no harder in this world
you made me cold and you made me hard
and you made me the thief of your heart
Winter is cold...oh!
But you're colder still
and for the first time
I feel like you're mine
I share you with the one who will
mend what falls apart
and turn a blind eye
to the thief of your heart
Ohhh you lost
Ohhh you lost all
you lost all
you lost all
I'll never wash these clothes
I want to keep the stain
Your blood to me is precious
nor would I spill it in vain
your spirit sings
though your lips never part
singing only to me
the thief of your heart
Ohhh you lost
Ohhh you lost
Ohhh you lost all
lost all
Ohhh you lost
Ohhh you lost all
lost all

7. Sinead O'Connor
Theme song to "In The Name Of The Father'.

A sad sad story and true. It'll break your heart. Rent the DVD and then cry.

The song only makes sense in context - a young man who loves his father watching him sacrifice himself for his son.

6. But we are still alive ...
A word, a sentence -: out of ciphers arises
perceived life, abrupt sense,
the sun stands still, the spheres are silent,
and everything converges round the world.

A word - a gleam, a soaring flight, a fire,
a cast of flame, a shooting star -,
and darkness again, vast,
in the empty space round world and I.

8. how about this?
Now that I’ve worn out, I’ve worn out the world
I’m on my knees in fascination
Looking through the night
And the moon's never seen me before
But I’m reflecting light

I rode the pain down
Got off and looked up
Looked into your eyes
The lost open windows
All around
My dark heart lit up the skies

Now that I’ve worn, I’ve worn out the world
I’m on my knees in fascination
Looking through the night
And the moon's never seen me before
But I’m reflecting light

Give up the ground
Under your feet
Hold on to nothing for good
Turn and run at the mean times
Chasing you
Stand alone and misunderstood

And now that I’ve worn, I’ve worn out the world
I’m on my knees in fascination
Looking through the night
And the moon's never seen me before
But I’m reflecting light
