Does anyone know how to make a pillar of fire?

I was hearing about it from friends this weekend... I guess with a coffee can, lemon juice, and wax (maybe more, not sure), you can have a pillar of fire shoot 20' into the air. I guess they do it in Thailand for some celebration (all hearsay). If you know how to do it, could you let me know?
