Note to DUers with cellphones that have T9 system for text messages

typing in licks turns into kicks

Double-checking this could save one lots of grief when texting something personal.

1. Well I was going to get a new cell this weekend

but I know NOTHING about typing in licks, what exactly do you have to do to type in licks?:shrug: Or in other words what the hell is typing licks and turning them into kicks?

2. think about it -edit

T9 guesses what words you want based on you typing in the keys of the letters they're on, it's a super-quick way of writing compared to 3R, 2A, 4T etc.

and I ran into that...I set it to abc away from t9 because I could not type the word ballgame in t9 (don't ask).

This phone will be extinct in one week. The provider is forcing me to trade it in or have no phone. I guess I've a lot to learn.
