tell me im not crazy
getting last minute jitters here.

I'm starting a new business. Ive done this business before, I made money at it, but it was very stressful because i made mistakes and didn't have much cash. I sold out 2.5 years ago with a token amount to propel me to my next adventure.

Well, 2 and a half years later, i have a significant amount of money, I wont have to worry about that again, I know what my mistakes were, and i know how to fix them. My business plan is solid, the technology is now solid, and i have my drive & energy back.

But.

The economy may or may not go crazy.

I may be over projecting the demand for my service.

I may make another mistake.

But we only live once, so i know what im going to do. I just needed to write that out for myself.

1. Go for it, don
A similar thing happened to me last week when I was presented with a new job offer. It was for a lot more money, but I am very comfortable at my current employer. In the end I took the job. Like you said, you only live once. Sometimes you have to take a chance in life. I hope everything turns out well for both of us.

3. Nope, you're not crazy
Sounds like you've got a solid plan, you've thought it through and you know what you're doing. Crazy would be NOT giving it a shot.

Good luck!!

when starting a new venture.

Have you gotten to the stage where you're wondering if everyone's going to see what a fraud you are? Wondering where you get the balls to even try this?

You'll be fine if you are thinking those things. It's overconfidence that'll kill you.
