I think I got stood up tonight
I was supposed to meet someone tonight at a local beach bar. I spoke to him just before 7 and he said "I'll see you in a little while". I got down there about 20 minutes later and waited for over an hour but he neve showed. If he was lost, he would have called, right? This was something of a blind date; we had never met before. He is in town for a bowling tournament this weekend. I left a voice message on his phone but he hasn't called back yet.

I am really pissed and depressed. I so rarely go out and do anything and this just completely ruins my weekend.

1. Aww, I'm sorry that happened.
Consider it his loss, and hold your head high.

2. if it was a blind date
maybe he didn't see you . . .

It was probably some sort of problem fidning you and you'll hear from him.

Otherwise, it's his loss. Life is way to short to worry about something a jerk did or didn't do.

3. What a loser. Any one who does that really has the low self esteem.
Don't waste another moment of your time or mind thinking about it.

I know it sucks, but it's him, really, not you!

4. I know it's easier said than done
But don't let it get you down. It's HIS loss, after all, and he's gonna be kicking himself.

6. It wasn't meant to be.

9. Yes it does.
It happened to me. I would never do that to anyone. I think it is highly rude and doesn't show much character about the person.
I would be at least man enough to call and say I can't show up. Even if it's a lame excuse, you deserve a call.

Sorry.
