Do you "log out" every time you leave DU?

Our local news did a story on spy ware this week. They said that we should always log out when leaving a site. They also said that we should have a different password for every "log in" site we visit. I had been using the same pass word and have not been logging out. I will change my pass words and start logging out now. I have anti virus software that I thought would protect my computer from spy ware. But, this report said that that might not be enough protection if you remain "logged in" to a site.

3. Is there a way of telling which sites you can trust?

I'm sure DU is one. But, how can I tell if other forums I visit are safe?

5. I don't post on other forums. I seldom have the time to visit them.

There are a few sites I would like to have the time to become active on but summer is almost here. :shrug: I'll have less computer time than ever this year.

don't use spyware. so I stay logged on to DU all the time.

And if one of the paying sponsors did, I'm sure they would deal with it appropriately.

If I'm at work or the library, then I definitely do.
