Is it wrong to eat lunch at 10:40 A.M.?

1. It depends on your schedule

I think the idea of breakfast food is things that are easy to digest and/or provide a lot of energy. Traditional breakfasts like bacon, eggs, and pancakes were things often eaten by families before they went out into the fields for work.
If you have just gotten up, spicy food might not be the best choice, but I don't think that there is anything wrong with say, ham sandwiches or something else that is easy to digest. If you are used to eating things like that shortly after you get up, eat whatever you are used to eating. If you awake early and are eating breakfast by 5-5:30 a.m., then you should be eating lunch by that time because it is better for energy levels, metabolism, and digestion if you eat every 4-5 hours while you are awake.

3. I probably should have prefaced the question

with the details that I've been traveling for almost 2 weeks and haven't had a chance to get to the grocery store yet. All I have in the fridge is the leftover Mexican from last night. And oh yea - it's been raining cats & dogs. Cold rain. Just didn't feel like going out just yet.
