Ever use a P-38?

They're easier than opening cans with a Buck Knife. I bought several dozen at Colonel Bubbies Army Surplus in Galveston a few years ago.

For opening those nasty C-Rations when you were out in the field. Actually, when you were really, really starving, C-Rations were good. When I was in the Army we actually had a class on how to use that thing.

and the crackers and cheese spread was a good workout for the P-38, plus they were a nice time killer. I often suspected our cases were high-graded higher up because I always ended up with all the Ham & Muthas. RHIP. :shrug:

I'm sure some of the supply guys had to have been going through them. The same applied to care packages from home. They regularly vanished.

3. Yes I had one on my keyring and I used it

I was at work and needed to make coffee there was a 3 lb can unopened of course and there were NO can openers. I remembered the one on my keyring. It took a minute but it worked perfectly.

The can opener on the Swiss Army Knife is very similar, but tons easier to use. That used to be all I'd use for a can opener.

Seriously, when I got this buck, it was a big deer with thick ribs, and the saw went right through them like butter.
