Dean Will Not Win iN Iowa.
But if he does, he won't win in New Hampshire.
But if he does, he won't win any states in the South.
But if he does, he won't win some other important states.
But if he does, he won't win the nomination anyway.
But if he does, he won't raise enough money to challenge Bush.
But if he does, he won't keep his foot out of his mouth.
But if he does, he won't keep from blowing his red-hot top.
But if he does, he won't be able to stop blinking too much.
But if he does, he won't be able to not be too short.
But if he does, he won't do no good in the debates.
But if he does, he won't run a very good campaign.
But if he does, he won't beat Bush in the General Election.
But if he does, he won't be a very good President.
But if he is, he won't get re-elected.
But if he does, he won't be no good in his second term.
But if he is, people will get sick of him.
But if they don't, he'll be a lousy ex-President.
But if he's not, he will die some day anyway.
And when he dies, he will go to hell.
But if he doesn't, he will probably have a lousy room in Heaven.
But if he doesn't, people won't like him much there.
But if they do, they'll all just be a bunch of dang Deaniacs!

You brilliantly put all the silly arguments together about Dean that really don't have much merit behind them. ;-)

get your head out of the sand.......Dean is the leader, with a big, big collection of democratic supporters who want *bush sent back to Crawford.

Dean and all his supporters have worked their buns of steel off....

We all deserve credit and peer support.

9. peer support
What is that supposed to mean?

Please, try to remember that the majority of Democrats don't support Dean.

If you don't believe this, look at any poll with Dean in it and add up the support of Dean, then compare it with the support of the other Dems added up.

And contrary to what some Dean fanatics believe, just because one doesn't support Dean doesn't mean they are a republican.

This is black and white thinking, similiar to Bush's thinking.

13. LOL - an even bigger majority doesn't support Clark, Gep, or whoever
Please, try to remember that the majority of Democrats don't support Dean.

please, try to remember that even if a majority of dems don't support Dean (yet), an even BIGGER majority of dems don't support Clark, Gep, Edwards, or whoever your favorite guy is.

Gore Will Endorse Dean
An Insider Boost for An Outsider Candidacy

By Dan Balz
Washington Post Staff Writer
Tuesday, December 9, 2003; Page A01

Former vice president Al Gore plans to endorse Howard Dean for president today, according to Democratic sources, giving the insurgent candidate the kind of establishment backing his campaign has been lacking.

Gore plans to announce his support for the former Vermont governor at a morning rally in New York's Harlem and then fly to Iowa with Dean for what was billed in an e-mail sent to Iowa supporters yesterday as an event that would "change the face of the Dean campaign." Dean then plans to fly to New Hampshire to participate in tonight's debate with the other Democratic candidates.

Gore's decision to back a candidate who was once a dark horse in the race for the Democratic nomination represents a significant boost for Dean and a setback to all the other major candidates now trying to slow his momentum. It was an especially bitter blow to Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman (Conn.), who was Gore's vice presidential running mate in 2000.

"This is huge," said Donna Brazile, Gore's 2000 campaign manager. "This gives Dean the credibility he's been lacking, from someone from the inside of the party. This will give Dean a tremendous boost in locking down the nomination."

But you have to snip the article. There are copyright issues we have to be careful of. Welcome to DU. I think this is great, but I had to send an alert.

22. Um thanks for this...but ya gotta admit ..this is BIG NEWS!
This story must be having two affects.

1. The people in the DEAN camp are estactic.
2. The folks at Democratic Headquarters must be
handing out crying towls to Lieberman...with pats on the back.

And there probably is one more reaction.
Terror...to the Bush Administration...Don't ya just love it?

21. Sounds like Arnold
You know this sounds so much like a "muscle-brained" immigrant who is showing what a complete and total dilettante he is. Frankly it also shows how very inept he is in knowing what it takes to set up a powerful but more importantly an effective administration. I read where if Arnold cannot get the California legislature to pass the legislation he wants then he plans to put all his wants directly on the ballot, effectively bypassing the states legislature. So Arnold has already decided to dispense with structure of government in favor of something much more audocratic. He could sure do a lot of damage before he's done or stopped.
Anyway I had to inlude this as it fit perfectly with this depiction of Arnold. My best to the state of California.

30. I have to lock this
Please review the rules for posting a new thread in GD before posting a new thread in GD. Hey, this post would play like Star Wars in the Lounge....

Thanks

1. The subject line of a discussion thread must accurately reflect the actual content of the message.

2. The subject line of a discussion thread and the entire text of the message which starts the thread may not include profanity, excessive capitalization, or excessive punctuation. Inflammatory rhetoric should also be avoided.

3. If you post an article or other published content which is from a conservative source or which expresses a traditionally conservative viewpoint, you must state your opinion about the piece and/or the issues it raises.

4. If you wish to start a vanity thread (ie: a discussion thread in which the sole purpose is to share your personal opinion) you must state your opinion in a non-inflammatory manner which respects differences in opinion and facilitates actual discussion.

5. You may not start a new discussion thread in order to continue a current or recent flame war from another thread. The moderators have the authority to lock threads in order to contain flaming on a particular topic to only one thread at a time.
