I've just finished Deus Ex 2 Invisible War--ask me anything
this is one hell of a game! iNstead of following a linear storyline, yOU get to choose what happens based on your won choices. for example, you can be a hird killer for tThe Order (a neo religion type cult), the wTO, or be a one person rampage with biomods.

I chose to be good--saved Cairo from a very nasty airborne virus smog, rescued people from the Order cult, stole a super gun from the WTO...and in the end I rescued JC and Paul Denton, helpng them transmit a sper nanomod disbursement all over the world. I could have killd either one off, but I loved the first game :-) I highly reccoment it for Xbox and PC gamers!

1. Oh fuck, it's not out for PS2????
Here's a good question: which ending of Deux Ex did you pick, and why?

3. spoiler alert
I picked the ending with JC, Paul and me-"Alex Denton" making thr whole world embedded with biomodes. Being a Buddhist and all, I didn't want the likes of the WTO or those other freeper like groups fucking things up  If you play the game, you'll see just how much the wTO leader acts like a rethug!

PS2? No way, this game is too graphics intenstive for that...but unlike some PC gamers, I LOVE the inteface, even on my Xbox. While the original had many more missions and areas, this one made up with alot of tense battles and ahrd choices to make.

2. I was really disappointed with Deus Ex: IW
It was 1/5 the length of the original game, the interface was over simplified, and I couldn't get a feel for the characters, the factions, or the world.
The areas were way too small, and I hated all the loading times, while the physics engine was cool for the first five minutes or so, everything seemed like it was made of styrofoam when you threw it.
Like I said, although it looks pretty, the storyline was way too short and I didn't really give a crap about anybody or anything. Considering that the longest ending in the first one was your character becoming a member of the Illumaniti, I thought that that's what would have happened. But no...(I won't reveal any more to anyone who wants to play the game)
I'm happy that you enjoyed it, but I'm glad that I received it as a gift instead of buying it myself, or I'd be asking Ion Storm for a refund.

On the brighter side: Now Ion Storm can work full time on finishing Thief 3.

4. How'd you get it to run?
I can't get the damn thing to run well on any of my machines, whether it's my aging P3-933 w/512 MBs RAM and a Radeon 9800 Pro card, or my kickass laptop with the P4-3.0 Ghz HT processor, Radeon mobility 9600, and 1 GIG of RAM. Maybe it's just not optimized well for the ATI chipsets.

I gave up on it...playing "Prince of Persia" and "Silent Hill 3" on the laptop. My desktop system croaked this afternoon.

6. I have a simple plan
I brought it for my Xbox  nOw how much video memory does your graphics cards have? I think that's one of the major issues for the PC version...

8. "Sunglasses at Night"
A must read for original Deus Ex owners - A walkthrough with attitide: http://www.it-he.org/deus.htm. Haven't tried it yet, but it will give me something to do until DE2 comes out here (Europe has to wait 'till March!)
