Does that make me smart, or stupid.

An aside, my Union has already stated that they not longer acknowledge the action of the Ferry Workers Union, as it in defiance of the law.

I'm not sure where I stand on this yet (except to be sure, it's on dry land), but I think the FWs are screwing themselves. The public is turning on them, and if they start to lose sympathy from other Unions, they're toast.

As it is right now, the potential of fines leveled on individuals and on the Union itself could potentially break its back.
