Does this drive anyone else nuts, besides me?

So you're watching the tube (a stupid thing to do in the first place, I know) and every other word you hear is either bleeped out or has a teensy moment of silence edited in so that half the words sound like: "uck", or "shi" or "m______________cker"?

Drives me nuts. I'd rather hear people swear. If they're gonna speak like morans, then let them. I can always change the channel.

Sorry, I don't vent here often. But I just got done listening to Triumph the Insult Comic on the Billboard Awards and it was ridiculous.

1. What really cracks me up

are sudden censored moments of silence...while the character clearly mouths 'fuck'...even so us non-lipreaders can figure it out.... into the camera....I mean, why bother??

One of the reasons I don't watch Jerry Springer. Can't follow a conversation with so much blanked out.

Including all the ethnic slurs. I guess I'll have to get it on video to hear all the original unexpurgated language.

4. a little known fact..

my brother is deaf and the closed caption is usually on. they don't censor the captions, so you can read what they say virtually all the time.
