I'd rather hear that than "You're going to hell" or "God hates you because you're ____". I just don't see anything wrong with love. It doesn't mean that you have to believe it.

When you don't have cash some of the guys will shout Jesus Loves You real loud at you and you wouldn't know what I mean unless you live in a large city.
They aren't saying it to be nice it's like a guilt thing. I give money to the guys when I have it but when you don't you get shouted at.

God hates so and so because they're whatever. Sorry, but God loves everyone and hates actions. I hate it when people say God loves everyone, then goes on to say, but he hates these people. That pisses me off more than anything. But this is also coming from someone that thinks the bible is a nice idea, but is in fact not the absolute truth of God. Too many contradictions.

44. My hubby hears "You're going to hell"

all the time from the religious fanatics he's worked with since we've been in KC. Once people find out that he's athiest (which isn't hard to discover because once people find out we don't go to church, the questions start), he's had people tell him he worships the devil and that he's going to hell. I should mention that in our area of Kansas there are HUGE churches EVERYWHERE. I've never in my life seen churches this big (some of them look like convention centers). Very religious area.

It gets bad though when your co-workers are putting religious symbolism in their memos just to piss you off. And one weekend his supervisor turned a television they were watching from basketball to some preacher spouting off. When hubby asked him to turn it off (he found it offensive to have to sit through that in the workplace) a battle ensued.

Yeah, it sucks for people who are religious not to get to teach creationism or have religious symbolism all over everything in this country, but "religious" people can be just damn cruel when they find out you have beliefs that don't jive with their own. So those "Jesus loves you" or "Jesus will save your soul" comments really piss me off.

And the relentless global cheese conspiracy. Twenty years ago, there were only a handful of dishes at a typical restaurant that I had to ask them to make without cheese. Now, it's virtually every damn one. I have been served green beans with cheese, onion rings with cheese, it's absolutely incredible.

Also, I hate that my Hurricanes wasted this season by agreeing to accept horrific Brock Berlin as a transfer. And I hate that my Dolphins annually field the most unathletic and inexplosive offensive line in the NFL, compromising their chances before a single game is played.

Mostly I hate the unjust electoral result of Florida 2000, and the generational+ disastrous impact on this country and planet.
