4. Not until they are wrapped
I cheated and only shopped one store (Carson's for those familiar with Chicago): two 25% off coupons, 15% off sale prices, plus an additional 15% all my purchases. I got great gifts at fabulous prices.

Now I just have to wrap them. Uughh! And I have to finish my sister-in-law's gift. I got a really cool collage frame that I'm going to put pics I've taken of her kids in.

I don't buy for that many people, so it's not too bad.

9. I don't buy for many either
I can relate...

Two parents, one husband, I'm an only child, no aunts or uncles to buy for. That's it, I'm lucky!

Yes, I know of Carson's - I go to Chicago at least once a year. Cheers and happy holidays to you and yours! :hi:

19. Eeeeew!
No, it's this awesome crystal candle holder. Hard to explain, but its these large pear-shaped crystal shaped to form a lotus looking flower with the candle in the center.

10. it hasn't been offered
yet. Personally, I've nothing to burn it in, so it isn't top of my list.

That's always my favorite gift idea to give to people. If I don't get a list of gift ideas from my BIL pretty soon, it's what he's getting this year.

I'm thinking of getting it for all my nieces and nephews, just so they will one day be able to say they once got a lump o' coal for Christmas.

Great! Coal!

thanks much! :loveya:

no sarcasm here. I am always flattered to get gifts. I do believe it's the thought that counts. So, a gift of any sort, means you were thinking about me. You're very kind.

Happy Christmas to you and those you love.

11. No way!
Can you shop for my family too? ;-)

Actually, we've done much (not nearly all) of our shopping so far, but the biggest task for me is the shipping. I have a very hard time getting that done in time most years.

14. If I had to ship
they would be lucky to get it by Valentine's Day. I'll spend Christmas Eve with my family and personally deliver them. I bought something for each person on my staff and I'll see them at work. My friends and I decided to stop exchanging gifts several years ago. We'll be getting together Saturday and that's enough.

17. Very impressive
I have a hard enough time shopping for my family alone. Thankfully I have no staff I have to worry about. :D

Seems like there's always more!

Good going, prolesunited -- I haven't yet started, and pure panic is about to set in!

15. I already had gifts
for my nieces and nephew — books and I only went to one store. I'm sure I'm done. In fact, Santa was very good to me this year. ;-)

21. You're a wise shopper. However, do you find that...
when you Christmas shop, you wind up buying a few gifts for yourself?

I know I sure do! (Doing my part for the economy, etc.)

31. Why of course!
What do you think I meant when I said Santa was very good to me. I'm single, so I'm my own Santa, which is fine because I know what I like. :-)

My indulgence was all new bed linens. I bought a really nice quilt that has an heirloomy, hand-made feel to it, pillow shams, a soft and warm velour blanket, and really nice sheets with a high thread count. All I need to do now is buy a new mattress and I'm ready to hibernate for the rest of the winter. ;-)

Santa also bought me a new iron, but how exciting are appliances.

20. Do I have to ask you something?
Or can I just say how jealous I am that you are finished when I have not bought one single gift?

24. You can just ooze with jealousy
I'm usually not done this early (early for me anyway). Like I mentioned I'm not buying for a ton of people, so that makes it easier.

30. Relax?!?!
Hahaha! My family is coming over for Christmas dinner so you know that means: EXTRA special cleaning — like pulling out the carpet cleaner and waxing the kitchen floor. I haven't even put up a single Christmas decoration. I have a menu to plan and goodies to bake.

It's FAR from over... <sigh>
