Damn this insomnia
What a bummer I just ended up pulling an all nighter, and I only got 2 hours the night before. The worst part is that while I can usually take a few naps during the day to even myself out I’m stuck in a combo of babysitting my nephews for a week while my sister is out of the country and dealing with finals week too, so no naps for me.

3. How old are you?
I'm not asking to be hateful either. I've noticed the older I get the crazier my sleep habits are. I can actually feel pretty good with five hours. I admit that a little power nap is sometimes helpful.

Anyway, I find that on those nights that my brain won't stop working, I sleep with the television on. Sounds weird, I know, but by watching CNN, for example, it makes my brain shut down and I can go to sleep.

5. I find I'm better off with only about 5 hours
If I go for more, I just toss and turn anyway. I assume it's an aging thing. Let's see....8 hours of sleep in my 20s, 6 in my 30s, 5 in my 40s....if I live long enough, I won't need any sleep at all!

I have always been a bit of a night owl, but this semester it has been real bad.

7. All I have to do today is
finish up a final paper for one of my classes and then watch the nephews. I love my nephews to death, but I have to say after a few days of this I feel for all the single parents of the world.
