It is sad about Paul Simon.
Now we'll never see any more of the reunion concerts with Art Garfunkel.

4. I'm surprised no one else said this.
Heh heh...

(BTW, I absolutely mean NO disrespect to Sen. Simon. I just like being a little silly. Besides, better to laugh than cry. Sen. Simon was such a decent guy, even the Freeps are being respectful.)

8. A Golden Oldie book interview with Brian Lamb was rebroadcast.
It was nice to hear the case for perjury by Clarence Thomas addressed in such a distinquished and plain manner. It rang with chilly relevance to current affairs.

As Senator Stennis might say, "He plowed a straight furrow to the end of the row."

7. I remember back in '88 ...
Saturday Night Live did that. They said the host was Paul Simon and both came out. They joke about how one performed for the ACLU while the other gave a speech at Madison Square Garden.

9. It's OK to laugh.
They did.

At the S&G concert Tuesday nite in Philly, Paul made the announcement that Senator Simon had died. Most of the crowd did not know. He called him a friend.

He will be missed.
