6. I actually did have a gray hare.

A gray and black English/Giant angora rabbit named Zoltan Kodaly. He looked something like this:

7. My Sister Had a Few Gray Hares

All named "Thumper" - Thumper, Thumper II, and Thumper III. Thumper IV was white, and after that she got tired of having rabbits.

Bear in mind this was in the Late '50s/Early '60s, and she was obviously influenced by the movie "Bambi"........
