I didn't know her at all, so it's not like I'm grieving (except of course I feel bad for my godfather).
The kicker is, my godfather is 80 years old.... and his mother was 105.

Before TR. An adult during WWI. She saw it all; I hope somebody recorded her reminiscences. You're right - no need for sympathy, just amazement. Ah, to have those genetics!
