That is how many times Sammy has jumped up on my desk with his grubby little foam ball.. He flips his head and bounces it off the monitor and then proceeds to lay on the keyboard.. I then have to throw the ball..

He "talks" to the ball at the top of his schreechy little voice, and growls if I try to take it away from him before he's ready..

Rinse & repeat..

I have NEVER had a cat that loved to play fetch.. HE IS DRIVING ME CRAZY..

Shut him out of the office and he bangs his little head on the door and howls..

He never gets tired of his little game :( I was tired of it after the 3rd time..

This goes on whenever I am not sitting on the couch, petting him :(

1. Whew!
With a subject line like that, I was going to tell you that's just impossible.

Never mind.

3. Yeah, and you love it. And well you should.
Petless here for the first time in 17 years. Enjoy, and remember.

4. One of my cats plays fetch
With those little plastic rings from milk jugs. Then, when he's tired of playing that way he paws it under the door to my pantry and stares at me until go get it. It's like he's trying to get ME to play fetch.

Cute little troublemaker...

6. hang it from a string ...
about 18 inches off the ground. For best results add a length of rubber band and hang it from the ceiling. Spin it around a bit and he'll chase it for an hour or so.

10. My Sammy played fetch
at my old place where I had a hardwood floor, I would skitter a plastic milk ring accross the floor and he just about broke his neck going after it.
Now, we have carpet in every room, and he's a few years older, but every now and then he'll attack one in the kitchen, we always leave a couple on the floor in there for the cats to play with.
His big thing now is wet qtips, I throw them up in the air and he'll jump to catch them, chew them up and hock it up later.

11. Our oldest cat Hobie...
...used to sit on the table next to me when I work. She use to stare at the monitor and watch the cursor fly around. One day I was on the phone, and I saw her get up, look down at the mouse, and push it around the desk. No joke.

Later,
JM
