Spyware programers should be shot (or given extreme monetary fines)!

I just spent the past hour removing spyware from my boyfriend's computer. Not an easy task.

Why the fuck do the spyware programmers think people want that crap? It's insane! They should be illegal!

So we got rid of all the spyware, and we just downloaded mozilla (to help with the popups), and we're about to get ad-aware installed....

And I'm supposed to be writing a paper!

ON EDIT: disclaimer that I mean "should be shot" in an obviously sarcastic way because of my extreme frustration. Fines of $20,000 for each copy of the program though...... I'm all for that.

1. Get Spybot too.

Adaware alone won't deal with the stupid spyware. I had to clean up my own work computer yesterday after I got infected with 210 (count 'em, 210) crapware.

2. I will think keep it in mind

ad-aware has kept my own computer clean for the past few months, so hopefully it'll keep his clean too. If not, extreme measures need to be taken :-)
