Holiday Gift Idea Needed
I've been invited to some friends' house for Christmas. They usually put on an really nice spread, and I'll like to give their son something nice as a present. He just turned nine, and is autistic. He likes art, and animated cartoons. Since he's still working on his verbal skills, and doesn't easily interact with other kids, most games would be inappropriate.
I bought him some of those markers that only work on special paper, so that if he gets over-enthusiatic the rugs and the walls won't suffer, and his parents won't hate me.
Does anyone else have ideas about what would be a good gift? His mom already has every Disney videotape ever made.

1. Does he like
stuffed animals? If he has finding Nemo, the Disney Store has great Nemo (and his pals) stuffies. Extra soft and cute. He might like one to cuddle with. Or maybe a shirt with his favorite character on it. They have a lot of great things and great sales going on now.

How much do you want to spend?

3. That's a Great Idea, Thanks!

Does Disney sell on-line? I just hate the thought of going anywhere near the mall this time of year.

For myself, I fell in love with that farting Pumbah toy at Mall-Wart. I think he might enjoy it as well.

4. Yes they do at
www.disneystore.com (I don't know if this link will work. I'm not sure how to do it.) But like I said they really have some great sales at the store. And you will be charged sales tax if there is a store in your state. (which I'm guessing there is) The stuffies at disney are sooooooo soft!

2. We gave our neighbor's boy a baseball cap...
He's considered slow but not autistic. He loves his baseball cap and even wants to wear it to sleep. We wanted to give him something any child would enjoy. Other kids are attracted to his baseball cap and it has helped him to interact with other children.
