1. As a Red Sox Fan, I'm Happy to see him leave NY
but Steinbrenner will probably replace him with a younger pitching prospect that will be the bane of Boston's existence. We have Schilling and apparently are 95% close to getting A-Rod. Should be an interesting 2004 season.

if you have had to work for George W. Bush AND Rupert Murdoch. Come on most people would have killed themselves!

*those not aware, Brown pitched for the Texas Rangers when they were owned by W, and the Dodgers are (were?) owned by Rupert.

...only if Brown can stay healthy, and recover the form he had before four straight years of frequent time on the DL.

And, yes, it's not unheard of for a pitcher to come back from a year or two of injury and regain 100% of his effectiveness, but four years is a little unprecedented.
