For me, it seems to be pepperoni pizza, rye, or cabbage. Anybody else?
(and no, magic mushrooms don't count).

1. I once fell asleep on magic mushrooms. |
|
I don't remember the dreams at all. It's bizarre when you wake up after an hour and you're tripping your face off.
I was super exhausted when we took them (around 3am) and somehow I managed to fall asleep. I felt great when I woke up though.

2. Reducing carbs lets me remember my dreams. |
|
When I'm eating sugar, caffeine and white flour I can never remember my dreams (and I sleep an extra hour or two every night) but when I was on the South Beach Diet I started sleeping less and remembering my dreams. I had a particularly vivid one where I was running around the outside of a huge spinning Ferris wheel stuffed with doughnuts in every car. I kept reaching in and stuffing my face. That was pretty weird.

3. For me, it's ice cream before bed. Maybe because dairy has a lot of |
|
tryptophan (I have no idea how to spell it, but it makes your brain happy)?

8. Maybe it is the tryptophan. |
|
I had a turkey sandwich really late the other night and then had a really vivid and bizarre dream which cannot be described in the Lounge.

Maybe it's the tryptophan in the turkey or something... :P If I eat one past 7 PM, it usually results in really fucked-up dreams... :P
