Diane Lane
SO and I admired her in Unfaithful and Under the Tuscan Sun,
so I bought A Little Romance, 1979, DVD. It arrived today and
we watched it tonite.

Director George Roy Hill. Cast Sally Kellerman, Arthur Hill,
Broderick Crawford (!). Can't forget Laurence Olivier.

Diane was 13 yo. Her first movie. Not the best but worth
watching.

1. see Lonesome Dove
A miniseries from 1989. She has a major role in it, and the greatest miniseries ever.

2. She is
a fine actress. I agree with you about Lonesome Dove. Anjelica Houston was also very good in that.

3. "A Walk on the Moon" w/ Viggo Mortensen and Liev Schreiber.
One of my all-time favorites. Fantastic performances. Do yourself a favor. It's wonderful. The soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission.

4. on cable
I just saw part of it on cable the other day. She is really young in that film but totally recognizable.
The first film I recall seeing her in at the time was the Outsiders.

5. She is
HOT! I saw little romance. I was 14 and I have had a crush on her ever since. Great actress.

I still haven't gotten over "Unfaithful."

6. She was soooooo hot in Unfaithful!!!
and a total doll in Tuscan Sun. I like that she's showing the younguns how sizzlin' a "mature" lady can be! She's on my "if I switched teams" list.

11. What a frightening thought!
That the 13-year-old I saw in A Little Romance and who I thought was incredibly cute for an early teenager (an aesthetic judgement only, as she was way too young for me) now qualifies as "a 'mature' lady"...

7. The Fabulous Stains
Early Diane Lane flick. She plays a punk rock singer who ends up in a band with Steve Jones & Paul Cook of the Sex Pistols. Have no idea if you can get it on video or DVD. USA network used to run it on their "Night Flight" show years ago. I was in serious lust with her myself at the time

8. She's Beautiful
But her movies are sooo bad. Unfaithful was the dumbest movie!

I saw that one when it came out...she was in the teen mags back in the day.

What was that black and white movie about the 50's teenagers....Rumble Fish? That was prob her best.

Chaplain, he was good but she wasn't her best in that.

13. I thought she was good in Unfaithful
Not a great film, but she was good in it. I haven't seen Tuscan Sun. That's on my list to rent.
