Who hates office get togethers for Christmas?
I went to mine tonight and it was horrible. A bunch of people who try to be cool during the day making an attempt to be cool at night. I ate my free meal and ran like a bastard out of carolina. I'm a therapist, maybe that's why it sucked because I figured out that most everyone was in need of therapy. I'm glad to be home.

1. Oddly enough, the office get togethers I enjoyed the last few years,
but I worked with a fantastic group of guys too. Hard workers who knew how to play and have a good time. :D

We were laid off last Jeanuary so I miss them this year.

2. I sure do...
First off, it's 150 miles away. Second, they still have it at the VP's house which, even though it's HUGE, the company has grown exponentially so the house is packed to the rafters.

Luckily I broke my leg so I can't go this year :D

7. Heh, reminds me of last year's Xmas party
My co-worker actually faked an injury not to go. She called the boss and said she had sprained her ankle working out so she wouldn't be able to attend :D

5. I love office get togethers at Christmas
because ours consist of just me and DH in our home office... under the mistletoe, with a fire roaring in the next room... and Christmas music playing on the cable radio channel.

Sorry you didn't enjoy yours :-(. Merry Christmas anyway.

6. I used to work at a catering hall...
we did lots of Christmas Parties...

and we had fun working them....
people getting drunk and doing things they'll regret later...
how could you not like being there?
unless...your the person doing the regretful stuff..

8. I try to avoid them
would rather just get together with a couple of co-workers at some bar after work, have a toast or two then go home...
