Does this person feel the same way? I hope so. Years ago, I was in a situation where someone told me he loved me and I just wasn't there and I hurt him a lot I think. For, me it's a very serious thing to say and it's not easy. There have been times where I have felt like I had to say it which makes the meaning is the words somehow less than what they really are and it makes me sad because that's not how it should be.

There have also been times when I wanted to say it and it took me a long time because it was such a risk and it meant so much and I just wasn't sure how the other person would respond to it, so I just waited and hoped they would say it first.

I give you a lot of credit for being able to open yourself up and say it though. It takes courage to do that. I hope it all works out the way you want it to.
