| What's the current stated of the Coaches Poll? |

Is it still bound by the BCS winner? I heard on "PTI" last week that the situation had changed, but I can't find any news reports on it.

The BCS and Coaches Poll are tied together.
The AP poll is not, however....which leaves the possibility of two champions this year.

The paper will print the votes, but the Coaches Association (can't remember the exact name of the group or the acronym) will still award their trophy to the winner of the Sugar Bowl.
