Jesco White, The Dancing Outlaw. Who's a fan?

I was introduced to Jesco via the PBS Different Drummer series in the early '90's. I've been a fan ever since. How could you not love someone who had never heard of Dweezil Zappa and who after meeting him, referred to him as Weasel on national TV?

2. I'm in WV

and I want a copy. Some friends recorded it but they loaned it out and didn't get it back. It's a classic, people either laugh or are horrified. There are some priceless moments, too many to list.

I'll look for them. I've been sitting here laughing thinking about some of the scenes. How about when his family gets together and drives around in the mud? His sister is a tough cookie. How about his "god damn" sunglasses?

If I remember right, his wife Norma picked Jesco and his cousin up when they were hitchhiking. He thought she was a rich woman because she had a sparkly sweater on, he didn't know whether to rob her or fall in love.

The Mud Ball where the family gets out in the yard and revs their vehicles around, tearing up the yard and demolishing the motors.

God I have got to say that Jesco/Jesse/Elvis is the best documentary ever made.
