1. D'oh!! No images in the poll options!
I vote for...all of the above. I haven't seen enough of any of them to have a valid opinion. :)

2. If by favorite you mean most talented in the films I've seen
I go with Juliette Binoche. I'll avoid the puerile option of favorite being the one I'd most like to schtupe. Though I'm not so serious-minded that I'm not thinking of the answer. :)

hottest judges in Austin, though I could only come up with two right off the bat.

Who's the other you have in mind? My brain must not be engaged this afternoon.

16. Dunno.
She's hard to forget. Great personality, fun to talk to, engaging and intelligent. Great flirt. Like Double E, maybe even better at casual conversation. Litle less intellectual than E, IMO.

Yeah, it's Jobycom Rates Judicial Babes day, I guess.

17. I haven't spoken to Gisela at length.
Just what I needed, another gorgeous, smart, liberal woman who's a great flirt. ;)

I still see E at the gym every now and then, although I've changed schedules, I don't see her as much.

We do have an embarassment of riches with our judges here in Travis County for sure. :D

18. I think she's mostly a political flirt
You know the type, schmoozing with light contact and tinkly laughter? Back before she pissed of the club, she hung around it a lot, so I spoke to her a bit. Really cool person.

We do have a lot of good judges, some of whom could make great candidates for the Lege or other offices. Not just women. Stephen Yelanowski, for instance.

19. Ahh...I know the type.
Whatever, though, it's still pleasant.

You are very correct about our judges though. I'd like to see one of them eventually make a large enough name for him or herself to make a run at AG.

23. Either of the two females we mentioned could do it.
E has the name and the right stuff, and G has the charisma. Yelanowski needs to age a bit more first, but he's sharp and energetic enough. A friend of mine ran against him for his judgeship (in the primaries) and was thoroughly and impressively shredded in debate. He's good. Just looks too young, so far. Kind of like Mark Strama.

24. That's another good thing. We've got plenty of young liberals, too.
Strama, Eddie Rodriguez, Dawnna Dukes (although I have my issues with her at times, I can't argue with her voting record), etc... The future is bright. B-)

15. A great actress, but I believe she's Canadian.
Edited on Sat Jul-08-06 03:08 PM by CBHagman
Let me go check IMDB.

On edit: Okay, I've been to IMDB. Ms. Bujold was indeed born in Canada.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000991/

So she gets to go head-to-head with Kate Nelligan and Molly Parker for favorite CANADIAN actress, once we get around to them. ;-)

20. I think you're right, LOL!
And I checked IMDb, as well. But she was born in Quebec, which explains the French accent. I always liked her. I first saw her, a a kid, in "Anne of the Thousand Days," with Richard Burton, at a movie theatre in London. She impressed me back then, and I've liked her ever since...:-)

26. Apparently Bardot Says That Gays Are "Fairground Freaks"....
http://www.ukgaynews.org.uk/Archive/2004june/1001.htm

Brigitte Bardot, the former French sex symbol, was handed out a €5,000 (£3,300 or$6,000) fine in a Paris court today for remarks made in her book “A Scream in the Silence”, published last year.

Now 69, Bardot made homophobic and racist remarks in the book. She wrote that gays were “fairground freaks who jiggle their bottoms, put their little fingers in the air and, with their little castrato voices, moan about what those ghastly heteros put them through”

41. it's like she never updated her style as she aged
still trying to pull off the same hair and makeup as when she was younger. and it just doesn't look right on her now.

it's disappointing to see she has right wing views. i always thought she was a liberal because she is big on animal rights.

She's transcendent in everything she's in...from "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" to "The Hunger". She's one of the most beautiful women to ever grace a movie screen.

30. I know she's beautiful, but I really don't understand
how she can be seen as one of the most beautiful to have been on screen. I just don't see it.

I see her and think she's pretty, but enough to go ga-ga over? Nah. I'm a woman, and definitely appreciate beauty in other women, but I just don't see it in her.

But certainly, to each his own.

And she has aged gracefully in movies like Indochine. Still beautiful.

Juliette Binoche runs a close second.

It's a very playful murder mystery musical with a kick-ass cast:

Catherine Deneuve, Isabelle Huppert, Emmanuelle Béart, Fanny Ardant, Virginie Ledoyen, Ludivine Sagnier, Firmine Richard & Danielle Darrieux.
