Remember...Saddam was not spying on libraries, art galleries and church groups. Saddam did not set up fenced areas to keep American citizens from expressing their opinion in public. Saddam did not hire a convicted thug to rifle through Americans’ private records. Spurious George did.

Saddam did not send hijackers to attack us on September 11th. Those hijackers were mostly Saudis, bankrolled by Saudi Arabia. Osama Bin Laden, whose family has been in business with the Bush crime family for at least twenty years, dreamed up the plan. Bin Laden bucks bankrolled Spurious George’s first oil swindle, Arbusto. Can anyone name ANY action whatsoever that has been taken about Saudi Arabia?

Saddam did not ignore all the warnings that the hijacking was on the way in the summer of 2001. Saddam didn’t sit like a lump at a photo op when the attacks occurred. Nor did Saddam cover up evidence of negligence. And it wasn’t Saddam who gloated publicly with his corrupt laughing friends about hitting "a lucky trifecta" after the tragedy.

Saddam didn’t send anthrax to the offices of two of Spurious George's most able Congressional critics. Saddam didn’t send anthrax to the offices of various figures in the media. Saddam didn’t send anthrax to an obscure tabloid publisher who had dared to print an accurate story about Boy George being grounded for substance abuse while in the Texas Air National Guard. Saddam didn’t test guard dogs for anthrax while ignoring black postal workers who had handled the anthrax-laden envelopes. And Saddam didn’t drag his feet after the attacks in a sham investigation.

Saddam didn’t try to keep airport security from being beefed up because professional workers might belong to a union. Saddam didn’t try to block a public commission to investigate 9/11. Saddam didn’t name a guy in business with Bin Laden’s brother in law to head that commission. Saddam isn’t trying to block the lawsuit by the families of the 9/11 victims, trying to recover damages from Saudi Arabia. Saddam didn’t promise and then withhold funds to train and equip firefighters and cops in case of another terrorist attack.

Saddam didn’t conspire with campaign contributors to rob utility customers in California. Saddam didn’t let Ken Lay, the worst swindler in history, hand-pick regulatory officials and draw up a bogus energy plan. Saddam didn’t sit on his thumbs while Ken Lay lied to the public and his employees. Saddam didn’t sit on his thumbs while Ken Lay and his co-conspirators shredded evidence.

Saddam didn’t steal America’s surplus and give it to a handful of ultra-rich cronies. Saddam didn’t put Ivan Boesky’s chum in charge of the stock market. Saddam didn’t cost America two million jobs. Saddam isn’t cutting social services to the bone. Saddam didn’t lie about funding public schools.

Right wingers have chanted over and over again "Saddam gassed his own people." But it isn’t Saddam who is letting his cronies dump millions of tons of carcinogens and toxins into America’s air and water.
