When will Matt Millen be fired.

His mouth is an embarrasment to the Detroit Lions (as if losing wasnt enough). His latest outburst calling a player a faggot is just the latest incident. He shouldnt be fired for this, but when you add a string of poor draft choices and decisions, along with an inability to control his mouth, then I think his ass should get packing.

I love Millen's apology. Yeah, you're frustrated with having a crappy team, so you call someone a "faggot". I'm frustrated by lots of things too, I don't resort to homophobic slurs to vent that frustration.

It is disturbing. And there doesn't seem to be a justifiable reason for the Lions to keep him around. The team has made little improvement since he's been there.

4. It begins to look like a matter of time. No judge of talent.

Another disastrous Lions' GM, in the tradition of Russ Thomas and Chuck Schmidt. The guy can't evaluate talent. He let go some fine players, and brings in total bums like Bill Schroeder. He has never been committed to the fans, and the area. I thought he would get another year, but now I am beginning to doubt it. Plus, he has no tact, to say the least (Johnny Morton was an a**hole on this, too - that made two of 'em). Let him take his millions, and play golf. Then, the Lions can bring in another loser, as they have always done.
