12. Yes I am still reading it lol !
After reading the first page I had to thank you before I got swept away into further reading ! I have to be polite . Tolkien gets more and more interesting the more I read about him . But I bet the way the LOTR was filmed is not the way he saw it in his world .

3. Good thing I live in a city
where the theatres are huge. Hopefully, I don't have to wait a couple hours just to get a ticket.

10. Yeah, if you lived in MY town
...You'd wait for the DVD. Seriously. I saw Fellowship in my local theater, and after those seats, I thought I wouldn't ever walk again. ;)

19. I'm lucky!
I'll go see it here in Marinette when it opens tomorrow evening at around fivish. The weather may not be very nice tomorrow night, so the theater won't be very crowded. There was freezing rain last year when The Two Towers opened, so the theater wasn't too crowded.

20. Midnight tonight...we sat in line last night for tickets and today, once
my daughter and her friend come home from school, it's gonna be Lord of the Rings on DVD until it's time to go sit in line for good seats at the theatre!
Those girls are gonna be SO dead at school tomorrow...

25. I'd LOVE to wait in line w/my mom but even if I lived near
her, she would not do it.

Oh well.

Your daughter is lucky!

I'm taking my portable DVD player and the movies with me so I can watch while waiting.

26. Well thanks...I think I am lucky, my daughter and her friend are great
kids and great company (and I am the coolest mom on the planet *lol*) so we get along just fine.
Have fun tonight!
We are bringing Scrabble and Jenga to play while we wait.

27. I have my fingers crossed for a copy
of the extended edition of the Two Towers for Xmas - I asked for it, and last year, got the extended edition of Fellowship - so what I want to do is wait, then watch the two extended editions over two nights of the holiday, and go see ROTK on the third on the BIG screen at the Cinerama. I go hours early so I can get my favorite seat, right smack in the middle of the first balcony.
