Good Sunday Morning, Loungers! On the Breakfast Menu:
Edited on Sun Jul-30-06 07:27 AM by Hissyspit
Don't know if Random_Australian or Clintmax are going to be around today, but...
Here's what's for breakfast:

Beef stroganoff (made with vegetarian Morningstar Steak Strips), wheat toast with red currant jelly and lemon-and-lime marmalade (from the New Forest, Hampshire, England), 3-minute eggs, Jordanian vegetarian stuffed potatoes, black tea and coffee. Oh, and a banana (need that potassium).

Here's the comics: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=364&topic_id=1768169&mesg_id=1768169

1. Tofu Scrambler here...if I start moving.
I'm quite upset right now. Some asshat said a dog's life is no more valuable than a spatula and I think I may be developing a mullet. So, after the tofu scrambler, I need to beat someone with a spatula via the internet and make a hair appt.

3. I told you to quit talking to Glen Beck!
:) Yes, there's always hair professionals who can suppress a mullet in no time. Very important people.

4. Tofu Scrambler here too.
Also homefries and Gardenburger Breakfast Sausages.

That "dog's life" thing was a very dumb thing for someone to say.

6. Obviously it was from someone who has never taken any philosophy
or ethics classes, because it doesn't even make much sense.

12. Yeah, the logic is pretty non-existent.
Pit bull attacks person.

Dogs are tools, just like spatulas.

Pit bulls are bad spatulas.

Since dogs are like spatulas, murdering 1000s of innocent pit bull-type dogs (and presumably some bag dogs as well) is okay.

5. What a coincidence!
I may make a smoothie later, too. The Naked Superfood drinks are good for that. Plus, I have my home-grown blueberries.

Smoothie tip: I always add a little grated dark chocolate. Does wonders.

8. I have a pepper outside, too.
But it's the only one on the plant, so I don't want to pick it yet.

9. We've had a good summer
so I've a bunch of sweet peppers, tomatoes and onions maturing quite nicely - mmmmmm, stir fry veggies. Nothing like freshed picked.

10. Despite the heat, we've had a steady amount of rain here in N.C.
Didn't plant any tomatoes or onions, though.
