Console Gamers: Tiger Woods 2004 question

My daughter has gotten a GameCube for Xmas, and it's pretty cool.

Now, I went out to get me a game, of course, and sort of flubbed it up. I meant to get Tiger Woods PGA 2004, but picked up the PC version instead. And now that I'm reading some of the differences, I'm curious if I really want to exchange to the GC version, or stay with the PC. The PC version really looks cool, with career mode, etc.
Is there anything on the GC version that would influence me to get it instead, other than the joy of playing while sitting on my couch?

1. If your comp can run it fine then I'd keep it.

The GC version is prolly a carbon copy. You could even buy a plug n play controller to play the game on you PC with. I highly recommend Saitek if you do.

I noticed that the GC version doesn't have career mode, which looks like a blast. But that couch is so damned comfy......

Saitek? I'll look into it. To be honest, I love the keyboard/mouse combo for most games. That's why I'll only play a FPS on the PC.

3. TW 2004 for the PC is INCREDIBLE

Don't go with a console version! Get the one that lets you design and download all kinds of courses for FREE from copyrightclub.com

Get the version with the better graphics and online gameplay. Besides, the PC version is $10 cheaper the last time I checked.

4. Stick with the PC version.

PC games are generally more configurable and have more content/options than their console counterparts, as well as having an edge in the graphics department on a good machine. I will personally NEVER own a gaming console again, and I'm a pretty serious gamer.

I'm cracking this puppy open, then.

I played TW 2K1, and loved it. I'm really excited about the career mode.

Plus, my dad, who's slowly converting to liberalism and is rapidly becoming my best friend, likes PC golf, so I can get it for him and play online.

BTW, I like the console for what I'd call "arcade games" like Mario and Zelda. Plus fun party games like MonkeyBall, that sort of thing. It's hard to have a 2-player game on a PC, you know?

I would never dream of trying to play something like a FPS on a console, though. Gotta have my mouse/keyboard combo. Same with RTS, couldn't imagine playing an RTS without a mouse.
