In an unprecedented move, Administrators of the popular Democratic Underground website (www.democraticunderground.com) have declared their "The DU Lounge" forum to be a neutral zone.

Henceforth, all NBCs (Nuclear, Biological and Chemical weapons), WMDs of ANY kind, flamethrowers, napalm, mortars (or ANY other artillery), hand grenades, petards, Claymores, cluster bombs (including, but not limited to, Daisy Cutters), firearms of ANY sort or caliber, bows and arrows ( to include crossbows), catapults, whips, chains (motorcycle or otherwise), ANY variety of bladed weapons (including spears, sword canes, halberds, switchblades, "flick-knives", and tomahawks), clubs, koshes, blackjacks, saps, knobkerries, shillelaghs, Big Sticks (whether walking softly OR loudly), brass knuckles, and large signet rings will be prohibited and must be checked with a MODERATOR upon entry.

Violaters will be executed, forthwith.
There will be no exceptions.
When asked for a statement regarding this policy, Democratic Underground Administrator Skinner said "Y'all play nice now".
