Earthquake
We just had an earthquake. I would guess about 4.0 or so. I'm in Oakland.

13. Just a big bang and a shake
It was over in about a second or two. The blinds didn't even slap against the windows.

3. Ahhh!
I lived in Alameda in 1989. Scary as hell. Hope everyone is OK. Sounds like a little tremor.

Keep up the shaking! :)

8. I thought it was higher...
based on how hard it hit my house. I'm up on bedrock in the City and it felt like the corner of my house got hit by a really big truck.

Maybe I'm just out of practice -- it HAS been awhile since we've had a sizable one. :)

9. What did Arnold do, jump up and down on his bed?
Just wait until 'the big one' hits and wonder what Governor Groper is doing then (on steroids, naturally)...

11. 3.1
But it happened *in* Oaktown. That's why it felt so strong.

Whoo-hoo. I love the little ones (as long as there's no damage and no one's hurt).
