1. I remember that show!
Unfortunately, I can't remember anything I saw on it, if I did indeed actually see the show. Of course, back then, I was never straight or sober at that time of night. :D

3. Was Night Flight...
the one that showed music videos before there was MTV? I seem to vaguely recall it. *pokes brain with q-tip*

My personal fave on early 80s cable though was the one where they had a couple of kids competing on new video games. I remember when Kangaroo premiered on that show. *snort*

God I'm a geek. :-)

5. First time I saw a Sugarcubes video was on that show
It was for Cold Sweat, and I NEVER saw it on 'regular' US TV. That was a damn cool show...

6. OMG Dynaman!!!!!!!!
I used to watch Night Flight every weekend, that was the best show ever. And when they started those goofy redubbed Dynaman shows it was genius.

I always imagined the otherwise invisible announced for that show to be a babe.

7. Night Flight!
Gawd, I loved that show.

Music videos, interviews with performers, animated short films, and other funny stuff.

In the couple months before it went off the air it went entirely to interviews with music performers.

But I'll never forget Dyna-Man.
"Might Morphin Power Rangers," with dialogue as written by a bunch of us sitting around while havign a few cold ones. :-)

"Let's get the virgins!"
"Nah, let's save the world first."

Or while a monster hits them with x-rays, "Oof" "Ugh!" "Ouch!" "Hey Dyna-Pink, I love where you have that new tattoo." :D

I remember watching bands like FEAR, the Plasmatics and other LA punk bands. I think it was something like Punk Rock Theatre.

12. Oh, yes indeed! Night Flight ruled...
My introduction to rap was on Night Flight - "The Message" video. I never forgot it. All kinds of weird stuff - this was 1982-1985 era. I taped some of my favorite episodes but I doubt they've survived.

Thanks to whomever posted the NF graphic - now if I could just get that guitar riff as my Windows "startup" sound, I'd be all set. :)
