Poll question: Best-looking Presidential Candidate?
Edited on Thu Dec-18-03 10:06 AM by bunnyj
Okay, I know this is completely inane and beyond stupid, but this IS the Lounge, and I want to know: who do you think is the most physically attractive candidate?

1. Edwards is really good looking
the rest are average to homely. Everybody knows that.

2. I think Clark, Dean, and Edwards are good looking.
Kerry isn't bad. The rest are okay, they just don't do anything for me.

4. Okay, I'm a guy, but Clark IS very good-looking.
Sad, I know, but I imagine that's going to be very important when he steps up to kick the Chimp's ass. Nowadays, people care more for surface appearance than the substance of a candidate. Which is why so many people fell for the ludicrous notion that B*sh was somehow more 'moral' than Gore. Chimpy kept going on and on about how he was a "Chris-chin 'n' a true b'leever."

BTW, who's the f*****g Freep lurker who voted for The Idiot?

5. Clark. He's got it going on. As a guy, I'll go with Carol, though.

6. Edwards
I am a guy and not gay (not that there is anything wrong with that :-) ) but even I can see through my straight man blinders that Edwards is a handsome man.

8. It's more important than you think...
I hate to say it, but appearance is 50% of a candidate's package.

Nixon was the first victim of this in 1960.

10. Is there a reason other than over sight that Lieberman wasn't included?

I forgot all about Joe!! I'm sorry - that was purely an oversight.

Edit - I removed Ralph Nader's name and inserted Joe Lieberman's name.

12. Well, Seeing As How I'm A MAN And All...
...I'd have to go with Ms. Mosley Braun.

'Course, all bets are off should Beyoncé decide to throw her hat into the ring...

13. it's clark by a mile and he photographs well

Edwards ain't bad either.

Kerry has big hair which I think needs to be restyled to give him a more updated look.

We all know the story of Sharpton's hair. It's a great story, and he does look approachable, but...conventionally handsome, no.

As far as classic thoroughbred beauty and being just plain photogenic, I think Clark is the winner. He'd probably do OK in the talent competition also. :-)
