Milwood accepts arbitration, stays with Phillies
So now the Phillies have perhaps the best rotation in the NL, if Burrell hits at all, they have one of the best lineups, and so far their bullpen (especially the back part of it) looks to be among the best in the NL too.

So fellow Phillies fans, how will they manage to still win less than 90 games this year??

I don't see this happening, though.

I say we'll take the NL East in a wash. The Brvos are swirling the drain, and the Mets could spend $300 million next year and still suck!!!

Yeah, that's one concern, but he's going to have a lot less to be upset about this year. As long as they can keep Padilla's head on straight and Myers from blowing up, they could have 5 15 game winners.

This is the best the Phillies have looked since 1980, and really, this team looks better than that one. It'll be a massive failure if they don't take the East, and I don't see another team in the NL that has anywhere near as solid a roster.
