I got my Jeep back today.

Apparently, it was a computer issue with a sensor and not a mechanical issue. It cost like $200 to fix, including the overdue oil change & air filter. It's nice having a car again.

Plus I'm proud of my Jeep 141,000 miles and still no significant mechanical problems ever. *knocks wood*

at least it's nothing major.

I have to buy a TPS sensor for mine soon and see if that turns off the engine light, which it probably won't. I plan to cry and beg the mechanic to help me find an inspection station that will pass it.

Sounds like a good reliable vehicle, hope you get many more miles out of it...
