2 things I really hate: being patronized and being interrupted.

If I have a question about the jurisdictional boundaries of the project, and the planner butts into what I'm saying with "You need to LOOK AT THE MAP," I'm not going to be happy with said planner.

Especially since said map does not show the jurisdictions accurately, and said planner is a moran who doesn't know her ass from a hole in the ground. A third of the time you ask her a question you'll get a totally patronizing non-response, a third of the time you get "I dunno," and a third of the time you get an answer in a totally patronizing tone that she totally retracts 5 minutes later.

Why is it that the most patronizing person is also the biggest moran?

It's one of life's little mysteries.

4. i hate when I get knocked off balance

and get all shakey inside (by being patronized)...that is the beginning of a meltdown for me. When this happens I need to shut myself up and so often I take the opposite approach and start 'nervous talking' which just makes it worse.

but practice the "stony stare" in the mirror. Really perfect it. When someone ever does this to me, I'm taken aback and have to remember what I just said, and it's like getting spanked sometimes. :D

5. Oh, I loved such encounters at my last job as long as

said moran wasn't in a position to get me fired. Some of my colleagues learned that I had a 'look' that meant I was about to make some one eat his #$%@hole after I trained the person to find it.

Now when the person could affect my employment it was VERY frustrating.
