Since Super Mario got outed here: http://amused.the-i.org/communist-mario

I thought that it might be fun to see if the same applies to Robin Hood.

4. Did ya click on the Super Mario link?
What a hoot!

"Mario, and his short-lived brother, are none other than cartoon representations of Joseph Stalin. Stalin was Russia’s amicus humani, amor patriae or communist super man. So could this “super” Mario represent another “super” man? Well, that is for you to decide."

5. There's this song in one of my bro's skate videos
Sounds fairly British I think, its very old school sounding, lyrics go like this "I am gonna steal from the rich and give to the poor", I turn and am like well duh :D.

7. no
since you capitalized Marxist; it means ~ a follower of Marx; and since Robin's time was much before Marx, he couldn't have known about Marx, so could not have been a Marxist! :) :D :P :9 :7

8. Aha! You know there was a writer in Pakistan that got the death penalty...
...for suggesting the same about Mohammet's parents who were dead before he started Islam.

How could they be Muslims?

9. Marxist?
He couldn't have been a marxist. Robin Hood's nemesis was the Sheriff of Nottingham, right? Rob, as I like to call him, stole from the government and redistributed that money to the over taxed forest peoples.

Sheriffs collect taxes, right? I know that's their job here.

Marxist don't take from the governement. They take from everyone then redistribute it. "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need".
